I hope everyone celebrating the holidays had a happy one. I received a good haul as far as gifts are concerned, but the most important thing is being with family, of course. And gorging on good food.

Okay so here is the Watchmen fic archive that I was talking about making. I used Efiction since I’m pretty fond of that for my own site. Hope the text is a shade of gray that’s readable for everyone. I ended up making it an archive with open submissions. Reviews are enabled and authors are able to delete spam reviews and the like (hopefully there won’t be much in the way of review nonsense). Folks are welcome to join and add whatever fic they have so far. I’m hoping that a reasonable amount of fic ends up finding a home there.

Once upon a time, I had a tiny mp3 rotation site called Static. I decided to resurrect that particular place, which is now located over here. I added some more songs to what I had up initially. I’ve got a few more that I need to process and will get up later today, most likely.

I like the layout – Gin and his sinister little look as he offers you headphones to listen. I bet he listens to jazz. I think everyone in the evil trifecta listens to jazz, but that’s just me.

Added clips of a beloved yaoi OVA to my yaoi shrine-ish site (there’s still not enough yaoi on it, but I’m remedying that bit by bit). It was annoying, because the program that I use to make the clips didn’t want to work at first. I petted it, and then it behaved appropriately. My Sexual Harassment is probably my favorite yaoi anime ever. It’s not about love or some such, which is one reason why I love it. It’s all about a salaryman using his body to get ahead. Who doesn’t like that kind of thing? As soon as it got licensed, I bought the DVD (no dub, but I didn’t mind). I still remember the look the cashier gave me when she examined it before ringing it up. Oh, the lost innocence!

The new version of my site is up in its minimal version. I’m intending to redo the fic archive that I have elsewhere, hopefully soon. I might rework/update some older stories that I had on the old archive and add them to the new one. For now, the latest fic that I’ve written can be found on ye olde LJ (boy has that site changed since I last used it). I haven’t completely decided. A new look for a new direction for things. It’s about time I did something productive with my old site, and just in time for New Years.

I may or may not have general gallery sites again. I think I’m going to keep them shrine-specific as opposed to what I had before.
